The Colavita U19 Racing Team is one of the nation's few bicycle racing teams devoted exclusively to the development of junior racers. The U19 program has grown significantly since its inception into a very large and influential junior racing team. The team has a prominent and successful recruitment campaign and has introduced many young riders to competitive cycling.
Ranging in age from 9 to 19, the membership now includes over 50 riders. During 2006 the activities and successes of the team under the capable directorship of Dan Coleman attracted much interest from new sponsors, including Van Dessel Cycles. This already impressive junior racing team is preparing for further growth in 2007.
